My yahoo messenger doesn't connect?!?

here's the problem: it's normal when you type your email add and pword. Then the "signing in as ___" is shown. I thought it will show my messenger list but it doesn't, instead it shows the pop-up for the invalid username or pword. I tried it several times but it's still like that. Tried firewall with no proxies, no network detection, all the four choices, even disabling my firewall for a while to see if it works but it still doesn't. Please help me 'cause I'm tired of the ads in Yahoo messenger for the web...

Windows movie maker video problems please help??!?

ok so im making a video on movie maker, a video with a song playing in the background, but it seems that i am getting problems with the length of the song, the song that i have put on it is 5 minutes long but movie maker says it is 8 minutes long, this has happened to me before, i made a video and the i put enough clips to fit a whole song, then when i play the video in wmp, the song finishes before the video does and i have to add an extra song to make it up, please can somebody tell me how to sort out my problem...

I've fractured metatarsals 3 times. It always hurt to walk on them, so I don't think yours is broken. However, a bone may be cracked....the amount of bruising does indicate a more severe injury. When in doubt, it is always wise to have it examined by a doctor.

Skin lump on my shin, flesh colored but odd texture.?

I noticed a small flesh colored pimple sized bump on my shin about a month ago, it has not gone away so I cut into it to see if it was filled with a fluid. It wasn`t filled with anything, but the tissue felt strange almost grainy (I wasn`t sure if that was the hair follicles). In any event, I ended up cutting it out since I couldn`t justify leaving it there. Was that cancer or scar tissue... any ideas? Obviously seeing a dermatologist is a bit moot until it heals.

The Town is Ben Affleck's second movie as a director. His first was Gone Baby Gone, a superb movie. He showed great promise as a director. Unlike in Gone Baby, he stars in this one. He plays Doug MacRay, the leader of a Boston bank robbing gang. In there last heist, Jem (Jeremy Renner) the most violent member of Doug crew, takes a bank manager Claire Keesey (Rebecca Hall) hostage. They let her go. Then they find out that she is from Charlestown, the place that they live. Jem things she might have seen something, and wants to find out how much she actually knows about the crime. Doug offers to do it instead. He fears that Jem will do more than just a talk(he had good reason to think that). But then he starts to fall for her. Things are getting even worse. An FBI agent(Jon Hamm) is trialing his gang all over Charlestown. He has a pretty good idea who he is looking for. With the FBI closing in and his friends questioning his loyalty, he has a hard decision to make. He has the choice to betray his friends or lose the woman he loves. There were to main parts to this movie, the heist parts, and the love story. The love story was actually handled very well, that is thanks to the script. The Heist parts were good, they contained a lot of action. I did have one problem with them, with so much close range gun fights, no one ever really gets hit unless the movie requires it. That was a big issue for me, it made some of the action less enjoyably. Overall the action scenes are decent. The cast does a good job. I really liked Jon Hamm here, he aced it. Jeremy Renner gives the standout performance though. Renner plays the role with great emotion and ferocity. He is as good as he was in The Hurt Locker. To great performances in a row by Renner. One problem I had with the cast was Blake Lively. She wasn't bad, here Boston accent was bad. It got on my nerves a little bit, kind of like Brad Pitt's bad Irish accent in The Devils Own. Ben Affleck gives a good performance as well. Ben Affleck has gotten a lot of hate throughout his career. He has deserved some of that, remember when he did Gigi. That movie was so bad that I wanted to forget I had ever saw it. Lately he has turned it around with some good performances and showing us that he can direct well. Still people are hating on him, saying he can only make good movies that are set in Boston. That may be true, but he is just sticking to what he is good at. Is that so bad. I love the atmosphere Affleck has to his movies. He knows Boston well. I wanted a little more depth to it, like Affleck's other movie Gone Baby Gone. Still, this is one good heist movie.

I normally have oily skin but it doesnt get oily until fifteen minutes after I wash it. It starts out dry once I finish washing my regimen is wash, tone, and then moisturize-dry. What does my dream mean?

I dreamt that I was at work on a regular day. For some reason, I had to leave work and run an errand. It started to rain, I mean POUR down raining. I was driving, and couldn't find my way to someplace that should have taken about 10 minutes. All of the road and highway signs were unfamiliar to me, and I just couldn't get back on track. I end up at a courthouse with my little four-year old cousin, holding him by the hand, ironically, leading him around when I'm lost. We go in circles. Opinion of Tomb Raider Underworld for the PS2?

I am a pretty hard core Tomb Raider fan and have been playing the series ever since I bought my first playstation. I was really disappointed to learn the newest Tomb Raider game would be released on the PS3 & Wii, I don't own either system, they are too expensive. So I was thrilled to learn the game would be released on the PS2. I went to my local game place really excited, brought the game home and started. I have to say I was and am disappointed not by the graphics or story those are good, it's the control that makes it horrible, Lara is hard to maneuver in situations and usually does the opposite of what I want her to do, usually plummeting to her death in the process. I have lost count of the many times I have wanted her to jump straight up and instead she jumps left or right, falling to her death. It is frustrating. The controls for Anniversary and Legend are a breeze compared to this and I wish they had been done the same way. I think the developer did a half-*** job with this and it makes me mad. Does anyone else who has played this game for the PS2 have the same problem?

I think I got carbon monoxide poisoning?

Today I smoked hookah with my friend for about 30 min to an hr and after that i started to feel light headed, dizzy, nauseous but no headache i don't think. It looks like a 'wolf' spider. They are harmless!!! They have great eyesight therefore run a jump quite fast. They love rabbit hutches and can also live in the ground. Hutches provide a nice protected place for their egg sacs, which they will carry with them if moved. Don't squish it. Spiders are excellent bad bug killers!! Put it in yours or the neighbors garden.. They Aren't pests they are pest killers!! Good luck!

So let me strat from the beginning, In febuary I had gotten my normal period on the 3rd, and then on the 20th I had gotten another period which to me seemed normal maybe just a couple days shoter. I track my period and was due for my period on March 6th, I did take a pregnany test on Wenesday and agian thursday morning, but both came out negative. I have also been experiancing some cramping which is right around my uterus, I was thinking that I was gy and constipated but I havnt been having any problems using the restroom, sorry if too much info. What is you biggest hobby? Do you love horses? Then you get a couple of nice framed pictures of horses and go with the colors in those and along with a floral in those colors, and/or stripes. Hi! I had it done the traditional method about 15 years ago and I did put on weight...alot of weight! I don't know if the surgery had anything to do with the weight gain, but I had stomach stapling/byp surgery about 2 years prior to getting gall stones and terrible attacks until they finally gave me an ultrasound and determined I had stones. I never avoided fatty foods....never even heard that I had to avoid them...maybe that's my problem? Ha! I also have a 2007 Scion tC, and when I listen to MP3 data disks with SRT on, I generally don't have the b any higher than 3 or 4, and I will crank the volume up to 35-40. On a normal audio CD, I will crank the b to 5, and take the volume up to 40 or so. It sounds okay. I also have my SSP set on 'feel', and the car type set for 'xA'. The audio sounds crappy (to me) with the car type set for 'tC'. If you haven't played around with the car type settings...try it! Hope that helps.

Get a Multi-Vitamin and Fish Oil that have a USP stamp like Nature's Made. Get yourself a nutrition log book to write down for the next 90 days or a free website that you can log your progress. Have 5 to 6 - 1cup size tupperware. Fill half with proteins and half with 1/4 cup complex carbs and 1/4 cup veggies. Eat every 2 to 3 hours. Drink 120 oz water a day at minimum. My period was late and short, could I be pregnant?

The best thing to do, if you can is to use the sauna/steam room first to open your pores, then try to submerge yourself in cold water. At a spa I went to, they had a cold water bucket drop that dropped water on your head when you pulled a rope. This cleanses the pores and helps to close them again, which is really good for you. Firstly.. I have already stated I think the season is too close to call. I was a 20 year old mess!! Funny I had this conversation with someone tonight. At 20, I was desperate for a baby. My boyfriend (who is now my husband) and I had just had a horrible miscarriage when I was 19 and I was trying to deal with my sister who was 31 at the time, would be 36 now and was an alcoholic. She's ped away now thanks to her alcoholism. Anyway, I did finally get pregnant with My eldest daughter Niamh a few months later and she's 9 on July 31 this year. And I have 2 more gorgeous children to add to my wealth of the last 10 years. Although I have suffered extreme depression, always continued with self harming and eating disorders. My self esteem is sh it low.... just as it was 10 years ago..... so did I wonder what I'd be doing now?? I hoped I wasn't gonna be as low as I was then.... and in a pathetic fashion.... The chief said this "is a serious allegation." She is flat out lying. I've been distrought over this. What can he do to prove she is lying? I prefer the soft pastels. I find them easier to work with and blend, but they are messier than the oils. It also depends on the look you're trying to achieve. Soft pastels always give me more of a toned-down, or watercolor look, whereas the oil pastels give me a more vibrant and colorful look. But that's just me. Everyone has different techniques.

Dot1Q is by far more common and recommended these days. Do you have multiple VLAN's on the two switches in concern here? If not, then no need to trunk. Also, make sure that they are both VTP Transparent (preferable) or at least in the same domain (less preferrable). If you are using VTP in any non-transparent setting, I suggest rebooting the NEW switch just before being added so as to ensure no VTP/VLAN issues. Hope this helps.

some people change their style to fit in, its not exactly to be you. I'm from the city and when I moved to the country I thought it was boring and it was all farmers kids in my school, i didn't really change tho so i didn't understand why she did, maybe it's to fit in with the crowd. Weird dream?

I had a dream that I was going to my moms house (my parents are split up, so I switch houses every week) and I was driving there. It was really snowy and there are more than one way to get there, so we had difficulties() so I told my dad to just call my mom and see if she can come get us in her car(this has happened before too) but when we called it said the phone has been disconnected. We drove over to a different area(ive never seen it before) and there was mive hills and weird car tracks and big deep holes that it looks like cars have drove off of possibly?, and for some reason there was purple in the snow. There was a guy dragging a teen-looking girl with blood on her head, hair, and face. But for some reason there was no cars. I got worried about my mom, so I called the home phone. No answer. So we drove back. I was looking at an internet page and it said something about deaths at that at area. And it said my step dads name. he got in a car crash or something?

Last night I woke up in a cold sweat because of a terrible nightmare. It took me 10 minutes to wake my fiance up and even with his attempt to cuddle me, I couldn't get the images out of my head. The only weird thing was that the images were original...so was the story. I recently got some bad news and I think that my subconscious was going crazy last night. Anyway, the idea is really original (which is uncommon these days) and I think it would make an amazing thriller (like The Bone Collector) or even good hour long episode of Law and Order (SVU of course ;)). However, I have no idea what do to now. I can't write a screen play, I am a law student - I don't even have time to shower. I don't want to tell anyone about it (because they will steal it) and I don't want to get suckered into a scam (like those get rich quick websites where you tell them your idea and they supposedly pitch it for you). Pre employment drug and background check- winn dixie?

Okayyy so this is a first job kind of thing for me and im only 16. So i applied at winn dixie grocery stores about four weeks ago, and thn three days later i showed up with a resume and the big manager insantly liked me so he got me into an interview tht same day with the hiring manager and she instantly liked me too and tht same day she basically told me i got the job. Sent me too get drug tested (pee in a cup) at labcorp, and then to come back on a few days later to put my name in the system for the background check. So she said theyll give me a call. Two weeks ped by and theyhadnt called so i gae her a call. And since she had been on vacation she had just strted working tht same day , theyve been really busy bcuz they are remodeling and hiring, and she told me ht labcorp for sone reason still had me pending with about six other people and tht she was going to call me though. So its been a little over a week and she stil hasnt called me back . I free of any drugs ( except for a prescription drug tht i havent even tken i a while ) and my background check is clean. I took midol the day of the drug test tho. So but idk. Its been a while? What should i do?????

African Grey Parrot diet?

I am bringing home an African Grey Parrot next week and am wondering what brand of pellets to convert him to when he is home.(I do know to convert gradually-wouldn't just switch from one to the other) He is on Zupreem pellets at the breeders', which is also what we fed the Grey my family had when I was in my teens. I have heard Harrison's is an excellent food, and also Roudybush, but I know Greys have their own dietary needs, such as extra calcium, and wonder which type is recommended for them. I also read somewhere that they need extra phosphorus along with the calcium, something I admittedly am not knowledgable on. He will have fresh vegetables/fruits as well. . . .I need a refresher on which are best specifically for a Grey; I seem to remember from my parents' bird that broccoli and Kale are recommended? I love music like slipknot, lady gaga, 80's pop music and guys I have dated love 90's, Pearl Jam etc.. I would say yes you do have music chemistry, as your music tastes aren't very extreme. You have to think about what else might have been wrong in the relationship because it certainly wasn't music that was the cause of the break up!

In Los Angeles, we're already over 4 dollars a gallon and it just continues to soar. Even before the series of revolutions began in the middle east, gas prices were already starting to rise at an alarming rate. It used to cost me $30 to fill my car completely up, now i'm about $70 dollars and i fill up once maybe twice a week that's up about $250dollars/ per month from about 150/mth. Sorry, I tried to squeeze as much as I could into the limited question field. I'm in Thailand which continues to block youtube. I can get to it via a proxy server. I can get that far, and browse, but no further. When I try to choose a particular video, I get the warning, "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player." message. Not true! All my software works fine. All my preferences are OK. My problem only shows up when I use proxy servers. Admittedly, I'm not especially well informed in their proper use. What am I missing? Do I have to tell the proxy servers to allow the videos? Or change their preferences? Do I need to pay for some form of elite proxy server? Thanks!

Hi Kathleen. I have two iguanas of my own and they are not the easiest to take care of. Just because they look cute and are small. They will not stay that way forever. I have a full grown iguana and a baby iguana. You should never ever buy a reptile with out knowing about it first. Before you even think about buying one you should study them first and research them. They are a big responsibility. For my adult iguana we have a cage that's 6 foot tall, 7 foot long and 3 feet deep. Are you willing to buy or build a cage that big. So, please study them before you get another animal because a lot of animals have died from people buying on impulse and not knowing anything about them.

I had a dream once that there were these huge cinder block monsters stomping over the earth and everything they touched turned to concrete, I was mother nature in human form wearing this beautiful royal purple cloak flying over the world watching them do this and new there wasn't much time, so I flew into the earth where there was a meeting with all the natural creatures of the earth (no humans) and sent the worms to destoy the concrete monsters which they did and the world grew green again. Cheddar but that's not really a one choice question. I mean each cheese has a special purpose. Like Reuben's have to have Swiss! Limburger or cheddar would not work. Then there is TeX-Mex you have got to have cheddar or pepper jack. Feta is great in salads, on pizza or in certain recipes. I love to just eat pepper jack and cheddar all by it's self to. Advice from others with mental issues?

i think that you are going to have a nervous breakdown if you do not relax and take this slowly. this is not something that is fixed very quickly. that is something that you need to realize very quickly. patience and time are what you need more than anything. as you are trying new medication you will get frustrated because often they cause more side effects. i have found that lexapro is a popular medication, but i never tried it. i take a medication called lamictal. this helps with depression, anxiety, and mood swings. this is my understanding of its purpose for me. i also take abilify which eliminates my voices in my head, suicide thoughts, paranoia, dillusional thinking. just plain abnormal thinking and feeling. i am bipolar-schizoaffective. this means i am bipolar which is severe highs and lows in ones moods. happy one minute and furious or depressed the next. over nothing and yet these occurences seem like everything as they are happening. depression on one end and manic (extreme happiness which takes inhibitions away), on the other. schizoaffective is having many traits of schizophrenia, but not full blown. this is the voices and the delusions and goofy thinking and wanting to kill oneself and so on.....i have severe anxiety attacks and panic attacks to the point of being unable to go out into any public setting. i take a medication called xanax for this. it is similar to the feelings you get from being extremely frightened. this medication takes these horrible feelings of fear away and make it so i can cope with pain, tragedy, and fear in a more normal manner than to become terrified and think crazy things. like kicking a PTS problem into full blown psychosis. i feel that you are in a psychotic state with some mania happening. this is my opinion. throw some anxiety in there and some paranoia and i do not see how you are much different than me except, you did not break out with this illness until later in life. i started with depression and anxiety at 17.over the years, more traumas have brought out more symptoms, but when i stopped taking my medication 2 years ago, i went through every single thing you are describing for several months before trying these new medications to cover all these things at once. i also take adderall for ADD. i have been on this for one year. i will have to say, my life is finally coming back around. i feel pretty darn good, but it took two years steady of the right medications. i played guinea pig with medications for many years, so i am very grateful to finally have this under control. i said earlier that i was on the right medications for 7 years, but this is when we started trying newer drugs to cover specific things. i believe i am diagnosed correctly and if you are continuing to feel worse or not getting better, do not get frustrated and give up because the chances are you will succeed in harming yourself with such turmoil in your head. do not be afraid of trying new medication. you need to be honest with yourself. if certain medication has side effects you cannot tolerate, there is another to try. i do not blame you for not wanting to be on depakote. it can make you feel as if you are retarded. i was on celexa for a while also. then i went on przac for a few years. some medications do not work after taking them for long periods of time. just really keep being consistent with your medical appointments, take your medication correctly, and report any and all concerns to your health care provider. if at any time a medication causes you to begin to feel worse, tell your doctor right away. do not just stop taking medication without medical approval, you will make your recovery that much longer. there is no exact science on the mind, so do your best to continue to voice what is going on inside your head. only you know what these things are. noone can read you. dont stop working toward becoming healthy again because it will haopen if you be patient and stick to what your doctor tells you. remember, you can be treated and you will be ok, but do not expect a speedy recovery. this wont happen. relief should happen fairly soon if a medication is working and you should not feel worse from it. i would recommend reading on mental illness and anything that you can find that relates to you. you will be able to understand and express yourself better to your doctor. educate yourself and you will also understand the new you. you can make you healthy again, but you are a new person compared to who you once were. you have to work on you and your thinking processes now as you did not have to before. things will be different, but they can be a good different. just learn as much as you can about you and you will help your self to move forward with this and not have it ruin your life. i know i wont!
