A very close friend is suddenly engaged after saying she'll never get married again....?

My friend has been dating "Doug" for two years. She's very independent and has told me numerous times that she does not want to get married or even move in with Doug. All of sudden they go on vacation and they're engaged! Could this be a mistake and should I voice my concern?
