Weird dream?

I had a dream that I was going to my moms house (my parents are split up, so I switch houses every week) and I was driving there. It was really snowy and there are more than one way to get there, so we had difficulties() so I told my dad to just call my mom and see if she can come get us in her car(this has happened before too) but when we called it said the phone has been disconnected. We drove over to a different area(ive never seen it before) and there was mive hills and weird car tracks and big deep holes that it looks like cars have drove off of possibly?, and for some reason there was purple in the snow. There was a guy dragging a teen-looking girl with blood on her head, hair, and face. But for some reason there was no cars. I got worried about my mom, so I called the home phone. No answer. So we drove back. I was looking at an internet page and it said something about deaths at that at area. And it said my step dads name. he got in a car crash or something?
