HAMLET ESSAY TOPICS?! WHICCCH ONE?
If you understand the plot well, Gertrude's perspective would probably be the easiest topic. Pay special attention to the scene where hamlet talks to Gertrude as Pelonius hides behind a curtain. Gertude does not know about her former husband's ghost. She believes her former husband died of natural causes and doesn't know her new husband is the murderer of her former husband. She also doesn't know that hamlet's "madness" is an act he is putting on as he tries to gather information and avenge his father. Basically, she is in the dark about the murder, so think of how she would perceive her son's actions.
