As a women will I be accepted in the jewish community as a convert to judaism! ?

I know as a women an not being jewish by birth you wont be able to carry the religion to my children ! I want to be Jewish because of the fascination an devotion to the religion. I am not marrying a jewish man or linked to anyone by family i have allot of friends who are an i am from a non religious family an i am trying to find a calling an they are bringing me to temple an i like it an feel comfortable there but will i be accepted! My one friend is orthodox an my other friend is reform as an ex christian where would i most likely be accepted an what parish of that religion is best for me ?
